I’ve been dreaming up ideas for my Dragons setting for a while now. When I started talking to an author friend about how I should get started on my publishing journey, he recommended I write something short in order to use it as a giveaway for the newsletter. The good news is, I had just the story. The bad news is, he and I share the problem of having difficulty writing short. It was supposed to be a short story. It ended up being a novella! If you’ve read Silver, you’ll recognize the names Lester Heath and Lady Ruby. (You’ll also be in the future, because at the moment it’s not available.) This story centers on those two characters. It’s meant to be equally useful as an introduction to the series or a fun little glimpse of an unseen story for people who have already read the others. I hope you enjoy it!
